Visit the first ever Duloe Beer Festival - by train
Saturday 18 November 2006

The first ever Duloe Beer Festival is taking place on Saturday 18 November in the village's Jubilee Centre from 13 00 until 19 00.

Featuring a selection of twelve real ales from around the country, closer to home and a range of locally produced Cornish ciders. There will be a variety of food on sale and entertainment will come in the guise of beer festival favourite The Belfast Busker.

The event is being held as a fund-raiser for the recreation ground in Duloe, and all proceeds from the event will go towards providing sports equipment for the children of the village.

John Massey from Duloe Recreation Association said "The Beer Festival will be small but perfectly formed, just like Duloe itself. We'd love local residents to come along and enjoy some real ales and support a really good cause at the same time".”

The entrance fee to the festival is £3 which includes free commemorative pint glass and first drink free. Those festival goers arriving by train will receive an extra free drink.

Suggested trains to visit the event are the 12 25 from Liskeard or the 13 54 from Looe to Causeland Station. Causeland is a 20 minute walk up hill to Duloe. A Cheap Day Return from Liskeard to Causeland is £2.00 from Looe to Causeland is £1.50.
