The St Ives Bay Line

Sit back, relax and let the train take you on a scenic tour of real ales along the St Ives Bay Line – running from Penzance through St Erth to the visual arts capital of Cornwall – St Ives.
The Rail Ale Trail provides you with the ideal opportunity to experience the beauty of the coastal landscape of Cornwall, contemporary art culture and fascinating historical connections.
St. Ives itself is famous throughout the country for its art and culture, offering visitors an unrivalled collection of galleries and shops from locally based artists to the Barbara Hepworth Museum. It is also home to the Tate Gallery situated above the Porthmeor Beach and offers stunning panoramic views in addition to its art and sculpture collections.
