The
Queens Head is a typical rural village pub, and has been run by the same
family
for 40 years. This family pub is accessible to all and provides a warm
and friendly atmosphere. A country walk from the pub of only 2-3 miles
leads to the National Trust Property of Cotehele House. An off-road
walk to the riverside village of Calstock and Calstock railway station
is approximately 2 miles through a wooded valley. Two real ales and
one guest ale are available as well as a local cider, which can be enjoyed
with a bar meal either indoors or on the patio when the sun is shining.
Other walks and cycle trails nearby.
