A former coaching inn and one of the few pubs in England to have a rail station named after the pub! Enjoy a pint of real ale in the beer garden looking out over the railway across to the tranquil Taw Valley. Otter Ale is always available and we have a rotating selection of other local beers. We offer sandwiches etc., home-made pub classics (our Fish Pie, Steak and Ale Pie - with proper pastry! - is famous), and some interesting "restaurant-style" dishes with an emphasis on local produce. Roast dinners available all day on Sundays, as well our usual menu which has several vegetarian options. A warm welcome awaits all and we are child and dog friendly.
