This Hotel is known as Exeter’s “best kept secret”.
It is one of Exeter’s oldest inns, and even has a secret walled
garden. Originally thought to be a resting place for monks, the building
became a coaching inn in the 18th Century. This traditional English
Inn maintains its old world atmosphere and comfort. Guests can enjoy
fine food, three regular real ales, including their own brew - Old Wallop.
Occasional guest ales are also available.
