A spacious, open plan pub with a real Victorian feel, in a lovely building converted from an old armoury. Wadsworth IPA, 6x, Butcombe and one weekly changing guest, friendly staff, pool and table football and sports nights attract a cheery local crowd. The pub can get very busy - especially on Friday and Saturday nights - so please be patient if you're after a 'stamp'.
