Situated conveniently between the two market areas in Frome - Market Place and the Cheese and Grain - this is a popular traditional town 'local'. Two bars, one a comfortable 'snug', are entered through different doors. One guest ale - Eagle IPA and Bombardier were the most popular choices at the time of writing - and hearty, traditional pub meals. Good stopping off point for exploring this intriguing little market town, and perhaps an overnight base for exploring other pubs along the route - accommodation in a twin bedded room should be available by Spring 2004.
