Welcoming wood panelled and floored Youngs pub in this delightful historic town. Seating is on three levels, with steps up to each. Comfy seating and tables to enjoy the generous daily specials, but the pub is not huge, and is very popular with local office workers. Good idea to get there early if you want to eat, or to book in advance for the upstairs restaurant. Four real ales - Youngs Bitter and Special plus Smiles Best and IPA at time of writing.
