A large, single bar, character pub, festooned with nautical memorabilia, and in particular celebrating the local lifeboat crews. Three real ales at the time of writing included Courage Best, a changing guest and Weymouth JD from the Quay Brewery. The latter micro brewery is installed in part of the old Devenish building opposite - now known as Brewers Quay, and can be visited as part of the Timewalk visitor attraction. Although the outside seating is ample, this pub is extremely popular on sunny days and for evenings with live entertainment. Please be patient if you want a 'stamp' at busy times.
